Affle partners NDTV Convergence to power advertising on mobile

NDTV Convergence, the online arm of NDTV and Affle, India’s leading Mobile media company has announced their partnership through which Affle would power advertising on NDTV’s mobile portal – NDTV Active.

Featured in Livemint as the top full-service mobile portal, NDTV Active is an early pioneer in mobile web with 3.8 million page views a month in just 6 months of its launch. Given that the mobile internet universe today is estimated to be higher than the PC based internet universe in India, the growing popularity of NDTV Active has ensured that it gives NDTV a tremendous boost by leveraging its extensive programming assets to provide users anytime anywhere access to personalized services, content, and promotions on their mobile phones. This partnership with Affle would now ensure that NDTV Convergence creates significant revenues from monetizing the growing traffic on NDTV Active.

Since the launch in India, Affle has built partnerships with most of the leading advertisers and agencies and delivered customized mobile marketing solutions for them. Given that Affle’s SMS2.0 has already become one of India’s largest mobile media channels, this partnership with NDTV would help it enhance its services to advertisers and also work towards creating a one stop solution for advertisers wanting to leverage multiple mobile advertising platforms.
