Asia Pacific Advertising Festival (ADFEST) has announced next year’s event will run for three days from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 March 2009 at the PEACH Conference Centre in Pattaya Thailand.
“We are excited to announce the dates for next year’s event, which will provide many opportunities for rubbing shoulders with the world’s most respected creative directors,” says ADFEST President Jimmy Lam.
The speaker sessions will explore the festival’s theme for 2009, ‘MADE IN ASIA’, by exploring cultural trends and fashions that are impacting the world of commercial creativity.
The festival will include 13 categories for Film, Press, Poster, Print Craft, Film Craft, Outdoor, Cyber, Direct, Radio, Design as well as INNOVA and 360 Lotus categories for innovative and integrated campaigns. Juries on the Film Craft panel will also select the region’s best New Director.
In response to feedback from this year’s delegates, ADFEST has announced several changes to next year’s event, such as the new ‘ADFEST Academy’.
The ADFEST Academy will be available to delegates under 30. The first delegates to register will be invited to attend Master Classes with next year’s Jury Presidents, as well as share their own portfolios with some of the world’s best known creative directors for invaluable advice and feedback.
